So, I started a blog! Iāve been thinking about doing this for a while now and recently wanted an outlet to let me journal so I finally just did it. There isnāt a grand plan, no content calendar, no niche. Just a place to put my thoughts.
If youāre here, HI! Full admission, I actually have no idea what to expect either. So let me just tell you what Iām going for.
What is this?
This is where I write about whatever is on my mind. Some weeks that might be a deep dive into a piece of tech Iāve been messing around with. Other weeks it might be me going on about a research paper I recently read (something in CS, Biomedical Sciences, Econ, Math, Linguistics, etc. etc.) that completely changed how I think about something. Maybe Iāll write about a YouTube video I couldnāt stop watching, or a movie thatās been living in my head rent-free for days.
Iām a software developer by trade, so yeah, there will be tech stuff here. But Iām also just a curious person. New science, weird experiments, things I half-understand but find interesting anyway. All fair game.
Why a blog?
I always find myself arriving to something wayy too late, but recently I have been thinking thereās something useful about writing things down. Not in a polished way, but more like āhereās what Iām actually thinking right now.ā Maybe in the future if I get called up to be a Judge, someone might be able to read this stream of thoughts and see how my rulings will fall š. Sometimes these will be short but I also want the ability to write long posts to actually say something, public enough to keep me honest about the quality.
I also just want to get better at writing. And the only way to do that is to write a lot and hit publish even when it feels uncomfortable.
What youāll find here
A mix of everything, honestly. Tech posts about things Iām building or tools Iām trying out. Problems I ran into and how I solved them (or didnāt). Papers and research that caught my attention, new discoveries, things that made me go āwait, really?ā Movies, videos, podcasts, whatever I watched or listened to that stuck with me. And then the random stuff that doesnāt fit anywhere else but feels worth putting out there.
Thereās no schedule. Thereās no theme. If you like jumping between topics, find that you are thinking about an infinite number of things at once and just following whatās interesting, I think youāll like it here.
